| Primarily sourcing material through web scraping & cataloguing. The concept was to make an intensified homage to the classic films Koyaanisqatsi & Baraka, by manipulating & reanimating this media. The result is kaleidoscopic collation of provocative imagery melded with vfx, racing along an abstract narrative thread. Open sourced by data mining individuals & organisations, with contributions from friends alike. Thank you to all the lovely people that helped in this way. After countless hours of arranging images like a giant moving jigsaw, I am proud to present: Transamerica. An observational exposé revealing beauty in the impact, our accelerating culture has on our little blue planet.
